Ky-Mani Marley was born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976 is among the greatest and most rich Reggae singers. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani recorded his first album, Like Father Like Son in 1996. It was then immediately followed with Dear Dad", which reached number 1 in charts in the British Reggae chart. Ky-Mani, along with Praswell and Fugees (as as part of Avenue), a popular rendition of a cover of Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue came out in 1997. Marley first appeared in Miami at Midem. Marley's show in the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley's name became the topic of a bidding war. In 1997, she signed a contract with Gee Street Records/V2 Records. They also finished an album in collaboration in collaboration with P.M. Dawn who sang the song Gotta Movin"Up" in the hit song.
